About Us
We are a Reformed Evangelical Church with the mission of reaching our community and beyond with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which is for the salvation of sinners and making disciples as commanded by Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).
Our Heritage
"As a Reformed Evangelical church, we trace our Christian heritage to the Bible and the early Christian church — and further to the sixteenth-century Protestant Reformation which saw certain biblical beliefs recovered."
Our Beliefs
The Five Solas
Five Latin phrases foundational to the Protestant Reformation and to our confession of faith today.
Sola Scriptura
Scripture Alone
The Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice. No tradition or church council stands above it.
Sola Fide
Faith Alone
Justification before God is received through faith alone — not by works, merit, or sacraments.
Sola Gratia
Grace Alone
Salvation is entirely by the grace of God. Man contributes nothing to his redemption; it is a free gift from first to last.
Solo Christo
Christ Alone
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man. His perfect life, atoning death, and resurrection are the sole ground of our salvation.
Soli Deo Gloria
Glory to God Alone
All glory belongs to God alone — in creation, redemption, and the consummation of all things.
What We Confess
Statement of Faith
Nine articles summarising the core doctrines we hold and teach.
The Bible
We believe the Bible, made up of 66 books, is the infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word of God.
The Trinity
We affirm in the Godhead, there is a unity of three distinct yet fully divine persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We affirm the three are one true, eternal God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.
God
God is Spirit. He is infinite, eternal, and immutable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth. He is fully omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully human. His divine and human nature are inseparably united in one divine person without confusion, mixture, separation, or division. The attributes of each nature is retained.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. He dwells in the hearts of believers, effecting their regeneration monergistically and operating in their sanctification synergistically.
Salvation
Fallen humans are unable to save themselves, therefore God, according to His own sovereign mercy, acts to saves sinners by grace through faith. God sent Jesus Christ to live a perfect life and die in the place of sinners to bring them to salvation.
The Church
The church is the family of God which exists to proclaim God's truth, administer the ordinances, and lead believers to growth and maturity. Believers are to be faithful membership in a local congregation for the purpose of mutual encouragement and spiritual growth.
The Return of Christ
We believe Christ will return one day to consummate God's work of salvation. There will be rewards for believers and judgement and punishment for unbelievers.
The Resurrection of The Dead
We believe in the resurrection of the dead. One day, all the dead will be resurrected when Christ returns. Believers will resurrect to eternal communion with God and unbelievers to everlasting separation from God in eternal punishment.
"For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever."Romans 11:36
